Frankenstein Revisited!

  • Pre-Reading:
    1. Cloning is when something (organ, animal or human) is duplicated by copying its genetic material and DNA, creating an identical copy of the genetic Donor physically but not psycologically.
    2. Because there would be no diferences between humans, and that is what makes us to be and act how we do.
    3. One advantage is to help species who are in danger of extinction may survive by cloning them. Another advantage would be that if a cow is cloned, the production of milk would be doubled.
    4. The dilema is that the practice of cloning is the same as playing god in some culture, and that same problem is the vicious circle that has this subject, they fall to this very same  issue every time it wants to be approved.
    5. It´s true because in any mean, leaving a side that it is a clone, it would be a human being, and all human beings must have the same rights and privileges.

7. It depends on how much the person cares about how it looks and if that imperfection really bothers him.
10. To be imperfect means as the Oxford English Dictionary says:" imperfect: faulty or incomplete.".
12. I think he didn´t learn anything because his objective from the beginning was to remove that mark.
15. He was disturbed because, as he clearly said in the story:"... this small defect shocks me as being a sign of earthly imperfection". This was unacceptable to him because she was sso beautiful that a small mark was enough to disturb him.
